Which is the best offline browser? Would you like to use your regular web
browser as the offline browser? Of course you would! This allows you to feel
more comfortable with the familiar interface, use your favorite add-ons and
plugins, preserve old bookmarks, securely store the passwords and much more.
OfflineProxy is a software program that allows you to use any web
browser as the offline browser and the site downloader. Configure your
browser to work through this proxy and the program will save all visited
pages on the disk. You will be able to see those pages even when no
Internet is available. The browser will receive them from the proxy and will
think that it is still online.
Also the program includes the batch site downloader module. When
OfflineProxy returns pages to the browser, it embeds a small additional menu.
This menu allows you to control the downloader module directly from the
browser and download the whole sites with a couple of mouse clicks.
OfflineProxy is a portable software. No installation is needed. So you can
use the program right from your flash drive or any other removable media and
use it with any browser on any computer. Also you may wish to use it in
conjunction with some portable web browser.
